This is Karuna Jaiswal, a Chartered Accountant by qualification and a creative and compassionate and passionate person at heart.

After a rich experience of 14 years in the corporate world, I  made a smooth transition into freelancing projects since last 6 years. 

My tryst with numbers started from my toddler days when the T.V. programs, before starting, used to have a countdown 10...9....8....7....6....5....4...3....2...1….ACTION. And bang !!!!!Started the action in my life, which led me to many spots which have now become dots and here i am connecting the dots.

Hence from numbers representing waiting time to numbers representing the very core area of everyone's life, that is money. I specialized in same as a Chartered Accountant after topping as 2nd in Merit list of Aurangabad District in 12th grade.

           So the year of qualifying as a C. A. in 2002, was followed by Diploma in Information System Audit in June 2002. After gaining a rich experience in "both sides of the table", as our fraternity terms it, referring to both - Audit function as that side of table and working in Finance and Accounts departments as this side of the table,for over 14 years, I started my freelancing projects in November 2015,after I quit my job as Manager in Response department in Times of India .

Being in the finance field, as referred above, and working through many systems, in organisations as Datamatics , ICICI Bank, WNS, Express Clinics to name a few, although, I acquired and  developed a lot of skills , i always felt the need to find my own sky to fly and ground to gain and  to explore and attempt to troubleshoot, not only one company's systems or processes or rather daily challenges, the outcomes of which are limited, but to troubleshoot common problems faced by public at large , who are not aware of the existence of the solutions of same.

       Hence the big and important leap into my own projects consultancy and as when I came across , people's common issues faced in finance field , i thought of providing a platform for them as a reference manual to reduce the hardships faced in their daily life. And hence, this website was born as that platform and the Youtube Channel named " Karuna's Knowledge Nectar"which provides a more accessible extension of this motive.

           Being inclined towards spirituality, since childhood, I have had  empathy towards people and animals both. And then as my career , was budding from student days, till now, i started volunteering for stray animals rescue, side by side.

        Being both successful and unsuccessful at times in this journey,it  contributed , rather ,sharpened few skills in my working life. To name a few ......timeliness, organizing skills and resourcefulness and brainstorming over simulations for the situations. And also not to forget the collection and maintenance of Ready Reference Database of Doctors, Other Volunteers and medicines etc in animal rescue.  The best value i got from it, was valuing a life and time as rescuing entails emotional, financial and physical agility and grace and patience.

    Its been 10 years that I have been a trustee with a Animal Welfare Trust in Pune - The Soceity for Welfare of Animals and Plants, that too the youngest trustee in the same.

        Secondly , other than being a professional since the age of 20 ( I started articleship in the Second Year of Graduation in Commerce side by side with attending College), I have had inclination towards Arts as writing poems, articles, and also drawing  designs and singing to name a few.

     This too shaped my life in a professional way, as to be innovative in approach and creativity and ingenuity (thinking out of the box in Management term) in life and work in Specific.

The combination of the above two shaped me, as trying to find out ways and means, from the current technology and various products or services,  in the current digital dynamic era market, operating in a  regulatory legal framework, existing for the same, and for the benefit of the common man. 

     My last 6 years journey, as a freelancer, have given me enough food for thought or rather a peek into the various situations,  people come across in their everyday life, relating to finance and who do not have the time and energy, to find out the ways to resolve them or worst, they dont even have awareness of their rights and solutions or even knowledge of a product existing in the market, which can bring a revolutionary change in their financial modus operandi. Hence , i thought it better to use this platform and Youtube for easy access to people, to know more about these and resolve and manage their situation themselves rather than banking on anyone else or rather to make them self dependant.

My endevour here, is to equip people with options of various tools, available for them to optimise their finance domain struggles which can be helpful in resolving a lot of their financial woes.

     You can bank on me for this!!!!!(pun intended…...........after i had a 5 year stint with ICICI Bank as a Manager) 

     So hope you have changed your opinion about CAs as this boring and bookish people, who just cant think beyond numbers.

     Yeah, i corroborate, by this the fact & the proverb " Whatever goes around , comes around."
